Laughter Yoga stems from the Laughing Clubs of India and is being used in clinics and hospitals, schools and colleges, age care facilities and in business. Created and developed by a medical doctor who found that laughter shared many attributes associated with yogic breathing practices. He became convinced of the effectiveness of this new practice as more people joined in to start their own laughter clubs. Laughter Yoga is now a worldwide phenomenon and is being enjoyed by people of all ages from all walks of life.
