Festival Planning Under Way!

Planning for the 2016 Resilience Festival is well underway!

Jess and I have met and chatted with others about how we can make this year’s festival absolutely amazing! Last week, we decided to continue to host the main day of the festival at St. George’s Church once again because of their wonderful facilities and space. Seedy Saturday, the Reskilling Fair, the Earth Hour Potluck, and The Big Beat Celebration have all been confirmed as well as the eMERGE Ecomarket and H20Go Festival which will all fall on Saturday March 19th! The day is going to be jam packed across the downtown core, so make sure to mark off the date in your calendar so you don’t miss a thing!

We are looking for some volunteers to help out with the main day of the Festival and will be posting more information on different roles available for help during the day. If you would like to lend a hand, shoot an email over to me at kelly@transitionguelph.org and we can chat more!

In addition, we are looking for a few sponsors for the festival this year. We are looking to raise $4000 for the festival this year and will be launching a crowdfunding campaign in the beginning of February. If you are a local business that would like to support the festival, please get in touch by emailing me at kelly@transitionguelph.org. We would love to have your support, either financial or otherwise!
